New Feature: Teams Meetings – Raise your hand ✋

During an online meeting, when other people are already talking it can be awkward to jump in and share your thoughts.

A new polite way to catch the current speaker’s attention is to raise your hand.

Clicking the raise your hand icon once to raise your hand and a second time to lower your hand.

Meeting participants can see whose hands are raised thanks to a popup notification, or by looking at the show participants window.

You can lower other people’s hands in the show participants window.

Tip: If you are sharing your screen and only have one screen you can’t see raised hands.
Either use two screens when presenting or ask one of your colleagues to let you know when hands are raised.
