Highlights from CollabDays Bletchley Park 2024: 365Tribe’s Gold Sponsorship Journey

Last month, 365Tribe had the honor of being Gold Sponsors at the highly anticipated CollabDays event at Bletchley Park, home to the world-renowned National Museum of Computing. This historic venue, where the remarkable achievements of WWII codebreakers took place, set the stage for a day dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and the future of workplace technology. It was truly special to once again be part of such a rich legacy while focusing on how we can use technology to shape the future.

The event kicked off in style with an 80’s themed Sponsor and Speaker appreciation event, where we embraced the retro vibes and had a fantastic time networking in a laid-back, fun atmosphere. From the bright colors to the nostalgic music, it was a brilliant way to connect with fellow sponsors and speakers in a more relaxed setting before diving into the main event.

We spent the day chatting with our valued customers and attendees along with speakers from around the world, some of whom had traveled significant distances to share their expertise. It was wonderful to meet fantastic new speakers and reconnect with familiar faces, including our partners Intelligent Decisioning, Lightning Tools, and iThink365. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with such talented teams, and events like this really emphasise the power of partnerships.

The day’s sessions didn’t disappoint, and one of the standout moments for us was the brilliant presentation delivered by Stephen Thorlby-Coy, Director of Transformation at Hospice UK, a valued client of 365Tribe. Stephen’s session, titled “We Changed Everything All at Once: Was it a Dream or a Nightmare?”, took us on the journey of how Hospice UK recently switched off their entire data centre and migrated fully to the cloud. This was a significant milestone for the organisation, representing a bold move towards embracing modern, scalable technology. Stephen shared the challenges and rewards of this journey, reflecting on what worked, what didn’t, and how the team adapted to this monumental change. His session resonated with many attendees who are embarking on or considering similar digital transformation journeys.

Our very own Matt O’Malley joined Stephen in his session adding further insight and value to the day’s discussions. We’re always proud to see Matt bring his expertise and passion for digital transformation to the forefront, and this session was a highlight for us and many attendees.

Throughout the day, we were delighted to engage with attendees from a wide variety of organisations, each bringing their own unique perspectives and experiences. Rob, Zoe, and Matt had a great time discussing the future of work, the role of digital champions, and how businesses can continue to innovate and drive efficiency through collaboration tools like Microsoft 365. The conversations were as inspiring as they were diverse, and being able to exchange ideas in such a historic and thought-provoking venue only added to the excitement of the day.

A huge shoutout goes to the fantastic team at The National Museum of Computing, who were exceptional hosts. The museum is a treasure trove of computing history, and it was fascinating to see the evolution of technology from the past to the present—reminding us just how far we’ve come in such a relatively short period of time.

We’d also like to extend our warmest congratulations to Kevin Rowland, who was the lucky winner of the 365Tribe Prize! 🎉 Kevin, we hope you enjoy your prize, and thank you again for visiting our booth.

Lastly, a massive thank you to Brett Lonsdale, Tony Pounder, Paul Hunt, and the entire Lightning Tools team for their hard work in organising such an outstanding event. Your attention to detail, smooth execution, and passion for bringing people together made the day truly memorable. We’re also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many of you in such a vibrant and dynamic environment.

Thank you also to the super talented Mark Cherry of Intelligent Decisioning, for doing such a great job capturing the event with his skillful photography.

And the good news? CollabDays will be back next year! We’re already looking forward to it and encourage everyone to keep an ear out for details—it’s sure to be another amazing event.

Reflecting on the day, it’s clear that events like these are essential for driving meaningful conversations around digital transformation, collaboration, and innovation. The enthusiasm and knowledge shared at Bletchley Park reaffirmed our commitment to helping organizations navigate their digital journeys, and we can’t wait to continue these conversations in the future.

If you couldn’t make it this year, we hope to see you next time! Until then, thank you to everyone who made this event so special—we’ll see you next year! #CommunityRocks
