Hospice Digital Maturity Hub

Hospice Digital Maturity Hub

“Digital maturity isn’t measured by the technology an organisation owns, but by how confidently its people use it to improve outcomes. The most successful hospices are investing in both.”

Zoe Watson, Co-Founder, 365Tribe

As proud sponsors of Hospice UK’s Technology Maturity Survey, we’re passionate about helping hospices make the most of digital technology not just through the tools they adopt, but through the people, skills and culture that bring those tools to life.

Across the sector, hospice teams are balancing growing demands, limited resources and increasing expectations around digital services. At the same time, exciting opportunities are emerging through modern collaboration tools, artificial intelligence, and new ways of working. The challenge is knowing where to focus effort and investment to achieve the greatest impact.

This page brings together practical resources, insights and learning opportunities designed specifically for hospices. Whether you’re exploring the results of the Technology Maturity Survey, building digital confidence across your workforce or looking to discover greater value from Microsoft 365 and Copilot, you’ll find useful guidance, examples, and real-world experiences here.

At 365Tribe, we’ve had the privilege of working with healthcare, public sector, and charity organisations across the UK to help people embrace technology with confidence. Through our Microsoft-funded Hospice Digital Skills Programme, we’re also supporting hospice teams to develop the digital capabilities needed to thrive in an increasingly connected world.

We hope the resources below inspire ideas, spark conversations, and help you take the next step on your digital maturity journey.

Together, we can build a more digitally confident hospice sector one that frees up more time for what matters most: delivering exceptional care and support. ❤️

Practical resources for hospice teams

Digital technology has the power to transform how hospices work, collaborate and deliver care. Yet many organisations face similar challenges:

  • Limited digital capacity and resource
  • Competing priorities for technology investment
  • Variations in digital confidence across teams
  • The rapid pace of change in Microsoft 365 and AI technologies
  • Balancing innovation with governance and security

As proud sponsors of Hospice UK’s Technology Maturity Survey, we’re committed to supporting hospice leaders with practical guidance, resources and real-world examples that can help inform their digital journey.

Whether you are just getting started or looking to build on existing success, we hope the resources below provide useful ideas and inspiration.

Hospice Digital Skills Programme

A growing community of hospice professionals sharing ideas, learning together and helping drive digital change across the sector.

The Hospice Digital Skills Programme is a Microsoft-funded initiative designed to help hospices build confidence and capability across Microsoft 365, Copilot and digital ways of working.

The programme brings together hospice professionals from across the UK to learn, share experiences and support one another through a growing digital community.

Programme themes include:

  • Microsoft Teams and collaboration
  • Digital productivity
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Digital Champions
  • Building digital confidence

What participants are saying

“I wish we had all this at the beginning of our 365 journey”

“As with many hospices, it is increasingly recognised that digital transformation is a strategic priority, driven by the need to enhance care delivery, improve operational efficiency, and enable effective integration with wider health and social care systems. However, a persistent challenge across the sector remains the digital skills gap. Many colleagues lack the confidence, time, and access to specialist support required to fully utilise available digital tools and realise their potential benefits.

Following my meeting with Zoe at the Hospice UK Tech Leaders Conference in February 2026, I was particularly impressed by the 365Tribe offering. The programme presents a well-structured and pragmatic approach to building digital capability, underpinned by strong support from Microsoft, which further reinforces its credibility and value.

The onboarding process has been straightforward, and the support provided by Zoe and the wider team has been consistently responsive and helpful. We are now looking ahead with confidence to our colleagues beginning their digital skills journey and making full use of what is a highly valuable and timely opportunity for the organisation.”
